What this covers
This quote is to design and build a new Shopify store for XXL Visual, moving you off WordPress and onto a platform that is easier to run and maintain. We will build the homepage to match the mockup you shared, using your supplied copy as placeholder text, on a premium editorial theme called Prestige.
This is a fresh build, not a migration. As agreed, we are starting from scratch with new designs and we will not be transferring your existing products. The Probo API is not part of this version and can be added later as a separate project.
The work is staged so you stay in control. We build the homepage first for your review, then the rest of the store once you are happy with the direction.

Prestige theme licence

Paid by you directly when we go live. We build on a free Prestige preview until then, so there is nothing to pay for the theme up front.

How we will stage it
Stage 1 · before 10 July
Store setup, homepage and core templates
We start at the end of next week once you approve and the deposit is paid. We build the homepage first for your review, then the store setup and core templates. We are confident this stage can be finished before my leave on 10 July if you would like to move quickly.
Stage 2 · from 3 August
Product pages
Product pages are built around real products, so we shape one or two templates once you have your products ready. My leave from 10 July to 3 August is a good window for you to populate products, then we finish and launch on my return. If you have product page ideas of your own, send them over and we will work them in where they are possible.
A note on the theme. If you are not fully certain on the look, the homepage-first review is your safety net. Theme styling does not carry across between themes, so if you later decide to switch to a different theme, the only extra cost would be redoing that styling work on the new theme, which we would quote separately.
What's Included & Assumed
Assumptions
- You provide the design direction, copy, brand assets, images and product information. We use the text you have already written as placeholder content.
- Fresh build, no product migration. We start from scratch with new designs.
- The Probo API is out of scope for this version.
- The Prestige licence is purchased by you directly at go-live. We build on a free preview until then.
- Anything beyond the scope above is separate ad-hoc work, agreed with you first.
Revisions
How revisions work
One consolidated round of revisions is included on the homepage and templates. A round is one set of feedback sent back together rather than piece by piece, which keeps the project efficient and the cost predictable. Further rounds are handled ad-hoc.
Future Options
For later, not this build
When you are ready to connect your supplier, there are two routes. The full Probo API integration gives live size-based pricing and automatic order submission, and was previously estimated at around €1,500 as a separate development project.
A lighter option is Shopify's custom fulfillment service, which emails the order details straight to your supplier when an order comes in, without the full API. We can set this up as a simpler first step whenever it suits you.
